Island Park. Yes, it is a little far from DC, California, Florida, Arizona and Afghanistan. Pennsylvania isn't that close either. But that's okay, because you'll like it! After you make the trek to get out there, it really is quite nice. There are trees, plains, mountains, and lots of guys driving around in trucks. We doubt you'll find a quaint cafe to sit down in and have a cappucino (in fact, you'll be lucky if someone knows what one of those is here), and you sure as heck aren't going to go strolling down the beach, watching the sunset as warm salt water laps at your ankles. That's okay, because Idaho is better than all of that. Why else would the first nuclear power plant in the great USA have been built there? Yellowstone National Park? Driggs? Idaho - its a real nice place.
